GIS/Mapping Services is tasked to build an enterprise wide Geographic Information System capable of efficiently and effectively meeting the organization's geographic information needs. We offer a wide range of GIS and mapping services including GIS design, consulting, GIS application development and custom mapping services. Our experience in the GIS field includes many different areas such as electrical transmission & distribution, irrigation & drainage, and farm management.
We accomplish GPS and GIS data collection and map integration through the use of a Windows based data collection software application that is connected to a GPS receiver. Through the use of this program GPS coordinates and attribute data are collected for each point, stored in an Access database and output directly to ESRI Shapefile format.
We can maintain and manage your GIS databases, complete with updates, additions, deletions, and the peace of mind of having off-site backup to your valuable information.
Through the use of our data collection software we collect asset information, inspection information, and digital photos, which provides office personnel geographic locations of assets located in the field. Having asset information in digital format and tied to geographic location enables you to analyze the inspection data, develop plans for treatment of special conditions, attachment auditing, safety identification, etc.

We provide services for converting hard copy analog maps to digital files or digital file to digital file conversion. We support a wide range of file formats, such as DXF, ESRI Shapefiles, AutoCAD DWG, and MicroStation DGN. We can also convert point data stored in spreadsheets or other databases into various map files or CAD formats.
