Clientele

Management

KRSA management and advisory clients include irrigation and electrical districts, municipal utilities, and tribal utility authorities in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah. Major services offered for these clients include infrastructure planning, interconnection and impact studies, electric rate studies, power scheduling and marketing, regulatory consulting, federal policy consulting, electric resource and power supply planning, facility siting, and GIS services.

3rd Party Grid Interconnection

A large portion of KRSA's clients consist of private photovoltaic (PV), wind, energy storage (BESS), natural gas plant, and datacenter and miscellaneous large industrial load development companies. This part of the business has seen significant and continuous growth since around 2010, and has expanded from our home in the southwest to all contiguous states of the USA.

KRSA provides various services to these clients such as regional consultation, identifying client infrastructure (POI) targets, conducting studies from basic feasibility to customized multi-state bulk injection estimate studies, and preparing Interconnection Applications for new projects once size and location is determined. KRSA uses specialized software to identify strong and weak points in the grid for new interconnections, as well as identify likely Network Upgrades and associated costs for potential POIs based on existing interconnection queues and regional powerflow cases. KRSA supports these interconnection projects from start, to SIS and beyond.
